Packing

The Old London Moving Company offer an expert packing service for everything from books, clothes and kitchenware up to fine china and crystal. This service has proven invaluable to many of our clients and ensures that everything is ready and safe to be moved. Our staff are fully trained in all aspects of expert packing and when it comes to the safety of your belongings, no stone is left unturned.

A key factor in the safe packing of your belongings is the quality of the packing materials. We only use bespoke double wall cartons, crepe paper and bubble wrap. For antiques or furniture of high value we use export wrapping which is how we prepare items for international transport. We can also provide custom built timber crates where necessary.

Hanging clothes are moved using our garment carriers: these can also be purchased on request.
